Why Benares is an oldest living city
Living in Benares and living in Benares after knowing the city well both are two different skills. at first you get sacred at dark alleys of Benares while next time you find out the new stories of living life in the same alley.to find out the enjoyment of the life in this city we will have to study back to its history .we find out something new today in trying to find history of this city .we did not know that the center of the first rays of the sun is Varanasi .where the story of the other cities of the world start ,Varanasi is much more older than their stories . This is the city where one God is guard of the city and Lord Ganesh is watching around the city .one city where lord Shiva liked it so much that he did not move from here. This is the city where lord Shiva himself take the responsibility to look after his devotees or subjects. this is the city even death ceremony has musical instrument and people rejoice it .
Varanasi is such a holy that as per Hindus believe even if you just take circle tour on foot of this city whole of your bad karma washed away. Mother Annapurna has promised to not let any one sleep in this city without meal. there are twelve jyotirlinga itself in Varanasi and lighting and giving the energy to this city. This city has blessing of lord Vishnu even this city will be saved from natural disaster as per the Hindu text .This city has the confluence of the five holy rivers at Panchganga ghat in Varanasi where five holy river meet and make the confluence and its holy place for bathing in the city .
Banaras , Kashi , Varanasi , Ananadvana, Mahshmasha whatever you call it one of the holiest city for Hindu religion and there is a separate chapter about this city in Holy text of Purana and Upnishada. as per the Hindu text and mytology it said the at time of holocaust lord Shiva put this city on his trident and saved the city ,how attractive this city would be .we are trying to find out the attraction of the city which will be published in coming article.
Banaras is the city which is filled with with fun and enjoyment and they live with fun and people of this city are not even sacred of death and there is no worry about the food and life as it has been blessed . This city is very unique where you could see the morning famous breakfast Kachauri and Jalibi on the way to cremation ground and people play the holy at cremation ground with ashes from the cremation and this is the city where every particle there is exitance of lord Shiva and every one is his followers. imagine the fun and way of life for the other people is useless .and this fun and enthusiasm , tradition , customs are still alive in this city in the same way. The ghats at Banaras has more people than market in the city , and there are more festivals than the days. this city is the confluences of many religion and people are united inspite of being many cultural diversities .
Banaras is the city of Music where a world renowned Muslim musician Bismillakhan used to perform at Hindus temple and also at the ghat on the bank of river Ganges where great poet had composed Hindu holy text Ramcharitmanas at Tulsi ghat . This city still has carefree life, liveliness, fun , enthusiasm from its ancient time. now there is pandemic so people are having despair but this history of Banaras will be soon on its face and will bring it alive.
